Traffic Management and Road Closure Safety Training

The course aims to instruct and train personnel at the supervisory level to understand the safety procedures to be followed when undertaking any operation that involves working in close proximity to moving traffic on roads. The course is prepared according to the Dubai RTA’s “Work Zone Traffic Management Manual” and “Right of Way” guidelines and best practices in the construction industry as per Dubai Municipality’s Code of Construction Safety Practice, and enlightens the delegates about the importance of safety and the method to be followed.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the session, the delegates should be able to:

• Understand why is road closure safety important
• Understand what does the law require you to do
• Recognizing different hazards associated with road closure and how to control them
• Understand the standard operation procedures for different scenarios of road closure

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Nominated personnel who are responsible for implementing partial road closures including the supervisors, foremen and engineers.
